2021 has been a big year for our program, but a lot of what has gone into the good results of these past few months has been years in the making. Our program is constantly evolving, but the biggest and most impactful change we have made in the past five years has been what saddle we ride in. Many of you know that my horses have gone exclusively in Tad Coffin’s saddles for the past few years. I think Tad is one of the genius horsemen that I have had the pleasure of knowing, and his saddle is a true reflection of his horsemanship, his intellect, his ingenuity, and some incredible engineering as well. I could not possibly list all the ways a simple piece of tack has changed my relationship with my horses, and improved their happiness and well-being across the board. Some of the discoveries he has made in saddle design and materials are groundbreaking, and it’s no surprise that my horses’ performance is so notably improved. This is not a sponsorship post.
