I purchased my first A5 for my mare, Beatrix, in December 2009 at the suggestion of my trainer, and by suggestion I mean she had Justin Kenney come to the barn and show me how much my old saddle was hurting my horses back, which meant unquestionably, I had to get a new saddle. Using a Tad Coffin saddle dramatically changed my ride. I was able to find distances easier and my position on my horse was stronger and more connected. In the spring of 2010, I purchased Bouley, an 11yr old Westfalen gelding, who we discovered dramatically went better in the new TC2, when my trainer put her new saddle on him. The deeper seat and slightly higher pommel cleared his withers and caused less pressure on that area. I got a delayed start on using my saddle due to a series of unfortunate events (I received my saddle the day after I left for my 2wk vacation. When I returned, it rained for a week. After the ring dried out, my horse got bit in the stifle by his fieldmate & was off for 2 wks. Then, my husband was in a terrible racing accident & suffered multiple fractures.)
